MY STORY
Hello and welcome to my studio. My name is Sam Koppelaar, a 21-year-old wildlife and nature photographer from rural Ontario, Canada. Growing up on a small hobby farm, surrounded by open landscapes and diverse wildlife, I developed a deep fascination with the outdoors and the vast array of animal species around me.
As I grew older, my connection to wildlife only grew stronger. It was during this time that I first held my own camera — a moment that changed everything. From then on, I brought it with me wherever I traveled, capturing images of the world and wildlife wherever I went.

Giving Back
A portion of every print sold helps support children and familiies in Malawi. During my time in Malawi, I became familiar with the work being done through the Timotheos Foundation, whose mission left a lasting impact on me.
As a way of giving back, 5% from each print purchased is donated by me to support the Timotheos Foundation and their work with the children.
